Unique Divine Travels designs special tours for travelers seeking adventure combined with cultural and natural heritage. The program includes trekking, rafting, wildlife safaris, and authentic cultural experiences.
Season: March to May and September through December
Day 1: Arrive in Paro
- Reception at Paro airport by our guide and driver;
- Visit Ta Dzong museum showcasing Bhutanese art and artifacts; and
- Night halt in hotel.
Day 2: Paro to Bumthang
- Fly to Bumthang;
- Mountain biking between Latong La and Tharpaling;
- Explore Chamkhar town; and
- Night halt in hotel or home stay.
Day 3: Trekking from Bumthang to Trongsa
- Trek from Chumey to Kunga Rabten, Trongsa (approx. 6 hours); and
- Night halt in hotel at Trongsa.
Day 4: Trongsa to Royal Manas National Park (RMNP), Zhemgang
- Drive to Royal Manas National Park;
- Enjoy wildlife sightings and panoramic landscapes; and
- Night halt at Pantang.
Day 5: Pantang to Panbang
- Drive to Panbang for rafting within RMNP;
- Explore Panbang village and town;
- Experience traditional fishing in the evening; and
- Night halt at Panbang.
Day 6: Panbang to Trongsa
- Visit Zhemgang Dzong en route;
- Stop for wildlife photography and scenic views; and
- Night halt in hotel at Trongsa.
Day 7: Trongsa to Phobjikha, Wangdue
- Short hike from Trongsa Dzong to viewpoint (approx. 1.5 hours);
- Visit Chendebji Chorten;
- Cross Pele La and Lawa La with photo stops; and
- Night halt in hotel or home stay.
Day 8: Phobjikha to Punakha
- Visit Black-necked Crane Information Center and Gangtey Monastery;
- Visit reconstructed Wangduephodrang Dzong;
- Visit Punakha Dzong at the Pho Chhu–Mo Chhu confluence; and
- Night halt in hotel.
Day 9: Punakha to Thimphu
- Visit Chimi Lhakhang, blessed by Lama Dukpa Kunley (Divine Madman);
- Stop at Lamperi Botanical Park and Dochu La (108 chortens);
- Visit Buddha Point and Takin Preserve; and
- Night halt in hotel at Thimphu.
Day 10: Thimphu to Paro
- Trek to Taktshang monastery (Tiger’s Nest);
- Stroll Paro town; and
- Night halt in hotel.
Day 11: Depart from Paro Airport
