Unique Divine Travels curates festival tours centered on Tshechus, scheduled according to the Bhutanese Lunar Calendar. Our signature experience is the Jampa Lhakhang Tshechu, known for its sacred rituals, cultural richness, and traditional arts.
Season: March to April and September through December
Day 1: Arrive in Paro
- Reception at the airport by Unique Divine guide and driver;
- Visit Ta Dzong museum showcasing Bhutanese art and artifacts; and
- Night halt in hotel.
Day 2: Paro Sightseeing
- Trek to Taktshang monastery (Tiger Nest);
- Visit Kichu and Dhungtsi Lhakhangs if time permits; and
- Night halt in hotel.
Day 3: Paro to Bumthang
- Fly to Bumthang;
- Visit Kurjey Lhakhang, Tamshing, and Kharchu monasteries;
- Stroll in Chamkhar town; and
- Night halt in hotel.
Day 4–5: Witness Jampa Lhakhang Tshechu
- Attend Jampa Lhakhang Tshechu featuring sacred naked dance, mask dances, and cultural performances.
- Night halt in hotel.
Day 6: Chamkhar to Ura (Within Bumthang)
- Visit Ura, Shinkhar, and Tangsibi temples with village walks; and
- Night halt at Tangsibi (home stay).
Day 7: Bumthang to Phobjikha
- Visit the Black-necked Crane Information Center and observe the endangered species using telescopes;
- Drive to Gangtey monastery;
- Stroll in Phobjikha town; and
- Night halt in hotel.
Day 8: Phobjikha to Thimphu
- Visit Chimi Lhakhang, blessed by Lama Dukpa Kunley (Divine Madman);
- Stop at Dochu La Pass (108 chortens);
- Evening visit to Tashichodzong; and
- Stroll in Thimphu city.
Day 9: Sightseeing Within Thimphu
- Visit Zorig Chusum Institute of traditional arts and crafts;
- Visit Buddha Point;
- Visit Folk Heritage Museum and Takin preserve; and
- Night halt in hotel at Thimphu.
Day 10: Thimphu to Paro
- Depart from Paro airport.
